I remember where I was when the towers fell, I remember what went through my mind as well. I was a civilian then.
Yes, I'm damned proud to see this day as a member of the armed forces.
I only hope it doesn't serve as a rallying call of a martyr.

ReplyDeleteI posted this as my Facebook status late last night after I heard the news. The news has been saying that the Navy buried him at sea off the aircraft carrier before sunset last night and adding that it kinda eliminates a burial place and a place where people could go and immortalize him, so to speak.
